About me:
It's more a little about 'us'! My husband and I have cooked together since we met - have actually had arguments over "who gets to cook tonight"! Most of the time we cook in tandem, but sometimes he or I will make something special for the other.

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed on Oct. 4, 2008 by P-Cake
This is a very good cake but I think the recipe calls for too much oil. I only used 1/2 cup (grapeseed oil) and the cake is very moist and dense. I did add 1/2 cup of apple sauce to compensate but I really think it would have been fine without it.

Whole Wheat and Honey Pizza Dough

Reviewed on Oct. 1, 2008 by Emily
Good, not amazing. I will make it again because it's so good for you. I made a sixth of the recipe into a single serving pizza. Next time I'll put way more toppings on (I did half cheese and fresh basil, half cheese/pineapple/mushroom) to balance the breadiness.

Oatmeal and Wheat Flour Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed on Sep. 28, 2008 by Emily
Good, but no pancake recipe worth its salt will tell you to beat the batter "until smooth." You should always leave pancake batter lumpy, unless you want flat, rubbery pancakes.
